Maharashtra Seamless Limited (MSL) is India's largest manufacturer of seamless steel pipes and tubes, with its manufacturing plant at Nagothane, Maharashtra. MSL is listed on the BSE and NSE and is a flagship company of the D.P. Jindal Group.
MSL produces seamless pipes through the hot-finishing (HF) and cold-drawn (CD) processes — unlike ERW pipes, seamless pipes have no weld seam, making them inherently stronger and more suitable for high-pressure, high-temperature applications.
The company's pipes are certified to international standards including ASTM A106 Gr.B, API 5L Gr.B, ASTM A53 Gr.B, and IS:1978, and carry IBR approval for use in boiler and steam applications.

IBR (Indian Boiler Regulations) Approved Stock
Our MSL seamless pipes carry IBR approval under the Indian Boiler Regulations 1950 — mandatory for pipes used in boilers, steam generators, super-heaters, economisers, and steam piping above the specified pressure thresholds. IBR-approved pipes come with Form III-A certificates. Mill Test Certificates (MTC) are available on request for every lot.
